Paysages désertiques is a set of dishes that derives its reference in the natural textures of the arid and desert areas. Depending on how it is worked and cooked, the glazed clay can take the appearance of a very fine and uniform material, becoming extremely cracked. Made in various finishes from a very smooth to extremely cracked surface, these 5 plates each have a different function.

These pieces were exhibit in Museo Bagatti Valsecchi during one week for the Salone del Mobile in Milano, nowadays is located in Vip area of the Suisse Pavillon in Expo till october 2015.

This project consist of an experimentation with leather, using the medieval technique of « boiled leather ». Formed with water then hardened with beeswax, leather acquires new properties while conserving its characteristic look.
Using four moulded pieces I created my first collection of three vases in the context of the diploma project at l‘Ecal and mentored by Laura Bethan Wood and Xavier Perrenoud.
The results of theses experimentations with moulded leather inspired me to continue in the search of new shapes and applications.
The next step is to contact brands that produce leather waste, like furniture companies. Applying this technique I used for my first collection of vases, I want to build a self production scenario, the molds and tools to create new pieces.
The prestigious restaurant Benoit Violier ask us to create a collection of dishes in collaboration with Bernardaud.
The story of my project is the relation between music and gastronomie, using the graphic elements we find in music notes to create a collection that gives visual movement to amazing food compositions.
